SET Energy (“SET Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), part of SET Enterprises, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit setenergy.net (the “Site”) or contact us.

1. Information We Collect

• Information you provide. When you submit our contact or partnership forms, we collect your name, email address, company or organization, phone number (if provided), and any details included in your message.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, for security and analytics purposes.
• Cookies & local storage. We use only strictly-necessary browser storage to keep the portal secure — no advertising or tracking cookies. Section 2 has the full breakdown.

2. Cookies, Local Storage & Embedded Content

We keep our use of cookies and similar technologies deliberately minimal. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics such as Google Analytics.

• Strictly-necessary session cookie. When you sign in to the Partner & Employee Portal, we set one secure cookie (set_portal) so the Site remembers you are signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax, and is cleared when you close your browser or log out (and in any case within about 8 hours). The portal cannot function without it.
• Local storage (security). The sign-in page keeps a small counter in your browser to detect repeated failed login attempts and temporarily lock access. It stays on your device and is not used to track you.
• Self-hosted fonts. Our fonts are served from our own Site, so loading a page does not send any request to third-party font providers.
• Embedded content (portal only). After signing in, authorized users may see an embedded Google Calendar within the portal. Google may set its own cookies when that content loads. This appears only inside the login-protected portal; see Google's privacy policy for how Google handles that data.

Because these technologies are strictly necessary or appear only inside the login-protected portal, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies and therefore do not show a consent pop-up for them. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but the portal will not work without its session cookie.

3. How We Use Your Information
